Living Your Truth

What’s truth for you? It appears to be different for different people, but ultimately, it’s the same—love. Therefore, to know if something is truth, ask, “Is it love?” You’ll know by the way it makes you feel. For me, peace is the feelings barometer.

You’re Perfect Just the Way You Are

Life can be very hard and confusing. It often seems when you take one step forward, you wind up taking five steps backwards, right? It’s okay and you’re okay. In fact, you’re more than okay. You’re perfect just the way you are, because God loves you. That makes you perfect, and strong, and beautiful.

You’re More Loved Than You Know

A friend of mine sent this to me, and I found it so encouraging. I hope you will, too. Oh, and feel free to share this post with others to also give them a loving lift.

3. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.

Love Is the Dream Come True

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream that is coming to pass, not in the world at large--yet, but in smaller, more intimate ways--in our individual lives. Dr. King dreamed that we would learn to see and love each other beyond the color of our skin and form relationships based on the content of our character. We each have the power to do that, and in our day-to-day lives, many of us are using it.

More and more, we're discovering that we may not be able to change the world, but we can change how we are in the world--with each other.

Let Love Make You Smile

Go ahead. I dare you to think about how good love feels and not smile. Couldn’t do it could you? Neither can I, nor would I want to.  When love makes us smile, it eases our heart, adds a gleam to our eyes, and sparks joy in our soul.

Remembering love not only makes me smile more, but has led me to recently launch an online gift shop to help others remember love and smile more, too. It’s entitled LoveMakesMeSmile.com, with the tagline, “Gifts for a Happy Life.”

I never intended to launch an online gift shop, but, briefly, here’s how it happened.
