Access Your Power With Faith Shifts
It’s sometimes easy to feel as though our faith has been weakened or shattered—especially when facing life’s challenges. But, in reality, we are never without faith. It’s just sometimes misplaced.
In other words, when we’re doubting ourselves and believing that we can’t be, do or have something, it’s not that we don’t have faith. We’ve just temporarily placed our faith more in “can’t” than “can.” All that’s needed in these times is a faith shift where we choose to remind ourselves that, because God lives in us, there’s no such thing as can’t.
One way that helps me make a faith shift when I start doubting myself is to silently say this Bible verse: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Another method may work better for you. What’s most important is that we catch ourselves in the act of misplacing our faith and replace it where it gives us the most power—in the God who lives in us.
