How to Nip Procrastination in the Bud

Got too much to do and don’t know where to start? I know the feeling, and it usually results in procrastination for me unless I catch it early.

The best way I’ve found to avoid procrastination when I’m feeling overwhelmed by too many projects and tasks is to make lists, breaking each project and task into smaller steps. And sometimes I break the smaller steps into another list of even smaller steps that I feel I can realistically complete one at a time.

This process not only helps me avoid procrastination, but it helps me stay focused on the tasks at hand.

P.S. I can’t honestly tell you that this technique always works, but it usually does—when  I don’t procrastinate using it.
